The Creative Process
Design development / sourcing gemstones and diamonds
Handmade by classically trained master craftsman
The journey begins with a client consultation, we can discuss your design ideas and thoughts on gemstone shape, colour and choice of precious metal to create that dream piece of jewellery. Our master craftsman can hand sketch a design proposal to illustrate the overall direction of your chosen design.
After our initial design consultation, we will handpick a selection of beautiful gemstones or certificated diamonds according to your design brief, for you to view in store. After many years in the jewellery trade, we have built up strong relationships with some of the country’s leading gemstones suppliers. We have a vast selection of loose gemstones for you to view.
Depending on the design, we can hand make the new bespoke piece of jewellery in precious metal. Alternatively, some jewellery creations can begin with a wax model, translating the design into a three-dimensional model. This can be carved by hand or a CAD rendering can be produced and a wax model printed on a 3D printer.
Once handmade, the piece of jewellery will be set by hand, hallmarked and a final bright polished finish applied.
