Our store is hosted on Wix.com, Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Please note, any use of this website or purchase made through this website constitutes an agreement to abide by the terms and conditions detailed below which shall override any other terms and conditions. Any contracts or agreements formed between you and us by means of this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Online Shopping

We have taken care in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible. The images you see will depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. We are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images you see are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise. Before you place an order you should read the following: Orders, Delivery Information and Returns Policy. These pages form part of these terms and conditions and contain important information about your order.

Validation Checks

All credit, debit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of any item.

 

In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data, Credit Reference Services). A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Robert's Fine Jewellery website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order, or we may be unable to accept your order. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information.

 

All information provided will be treated in accordance with current data protection laws. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.

Website Errors

We endeavour to present the most recent, most accurate, and most reliable information on our website at all times. However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we apologise if erroneous information is reflected in merchandise price or item availability.

 

We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.

Orders

Once you have completed the checkout process we will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order acceptance. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the product(s) ordered or collection of the product(s) from our store, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  • The product you ordered being unavailable from stock

  • Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment

  • The identification of a pricing or product description error

  • Your not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions

  • Your order not passing our verification checks.
     

When your order is placed, the funds for your order will be ‘pending’ ready for us to ‘collect’ when we dispatch your order or you collect from our store in person. Pending funds means the amount of authorised money is set aside, away from your available balance and the amount is not debited completely until the day of dispatch/collection. Goods will not be dispatched or made available for collection until payment collection has been successful. We cannot accept orders from persons under the age of 18. Orders placed using a debit/credit card must be based within the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, we do not accept non-UK credit or debit cards.

 

All orders can be placed over the telephone.  Please call 01737 762700 during the following times:
 

  • Monday-Saturday: 9:30am - 5:00pm

  • Sundays and Bank Holidays : Closed


Unfortunately we are unable to accept PayPal payments or Interest Free Credit applications over the telephone. All orders received online at Robert's Fine Jewellery are processed and, depending on stock availability, are dispatched as promptly as possible and normally delivered in 1-3 working days, or you may collect from our store min person. Please see the delivery information on the product pages for more specific information. If the items you have ordered qualify for Express Delivery, they will normally be delivered within 1-2 working days. Where any products have a longer delivery time of 48 hours, we will contact you by email to confirm the approximate date of dispatch. Delivery times are subject to order approval. 

Business Sales

Sales of goods are for personal use only and as such a VAT invoice will not be provided unless specifically requested.

 

If you have a business need to purchase items from us please contact us to confirm if approval can be obtained for the sale. If approved, we will be able to issue a VAT invoice to the company acquiring the goods otherwise the VAT invoice will be in the name of the individual entering into the sale.

Cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your online order with us at any time within 7 days of receiving your goods. In the event we are unable to deliver your order within our standard delivery timescales you are entitled to cancel your order with no penalty. Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods, this will not include delivery charge if you have cancelled after your order has been dispatched, also not a service provided by us, such as a special delivery service. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods, which means the goods must be returned in the same condition as sent. Please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel your order.

Missing Parcel Or Items

If your parcel has not arrived within 5 working days from receipt of your dispatch email, please contact one of our team straightaway. We need to be made aware of the missing parcel within 14 days of the dispatch email to be able to investigate it and claim compensation for it where necessary. If you receive your parcel and you believe it has something missing, please contact one of our team immediately to allow us to investigate further. You need to contact us within 7 days of receiving your delivery and please retain all packaging.

Any notifications outside of the time periods mentioned above will mean we are unable to make a thorough investigation and any claim against us for the lost item will be rejected.

UK Deliveries

For all UK orders placed before midday, we will attempt to deliver your order within 3 working days. Where it is not possible to meet this timescale, we will notify you and advise you of an anticipated delivery date.

Returns Policy

Refunds can be requested within 14 days of the date of dispatch, and exchanged within 30 days from the date of dispatch. If you choose to exchange your item outside of the 14 day refund policy, a refund will not be offered for the exchanged item unless the product is faulty. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of earrings or cleaning products if the tamper proof packaging has been opened. This is for hygiene reasons and doesn't affect your statutory rights. We cannot accept items that have been engraved, personalised or altered.

 

Our promise to replace the item or refund your money does not apply to faults or damages caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Except in relation to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, where your statutory rights are unaffected, personalised goods made to a customer's specifications may not be returned. When your item is a special ordered item, we do not keep stock of this item and we will raise an order through a supplier direct to you. In such cases you may not be able to return your goods if they are unwanted, however if you experience problems with your goods or order then please contact us.
